People are applying reflective decals to cars now, like a traffic bollard?

There is something very attractive about this to me, and I don't know why. I have some white reflective tape sitting around.... I could totally Tron-ify my Miata like the guy with the 8-bit Miata drift machine.

Could you show some additional examples?

I'm pretty sure sticking blue and yellow reflective decals to your car here would probably count as imitating a police officer.

Well we have seen it on race cars and emergency vehicles but I came across this image. I am not sure what this is, but that body work fastener makes me think it could be a race car.

This is actually pretty cool and if tastefully done can make your car look insane at night.

Yeah I thought it might be a police car or someone copying one, I see Japanese style police cars in other countries.

Well the race teams make them look great and you don't really even notice it until its night.

Nice. Mine is white so you would only see it in Tron form at night.

It quite common with the endurance racing obviously but we never used it on cars I worked on. I like them in 24hr races, its safer and it makes the cars look great.

Nothing new

Kinja'd!!!

The Boss 302's had reflective side stripes.

Thats true, some cars have had it, they are covering them with it now though. I have seen people redo their GT500 stripes with it, I still have the originals on mine, they seem to be ok so I haven't touched them up.

I like some reflective stuff as it helps you be seen at night.

I was actually thinking of doing some number roundels on a car with a light reflective decal material so I can take them off after an event.

If you could make them magnetic, that would be really sweet.

Unfortunately (or fortunately lighter) some cars have non metallic doors/bonnet!

True, true. I was just thinking about something reusable.
